About the Mrs.

When I was in college (go Gators!), one night I went out with a group of friends. While I was devouring a cookie sundae, one of them said to me, “You’re like a dessert monster!” He claims it was not supposed to be a compliment, but I rather liked the nickname & it stuck.

My name is Gina. I’m a first generation Cuban American. I currently live in Atlanta with my wonderful half-Italian husband, our half-Maine Coon cat, Stanley, our who-knows-what-breed dog, Dove, & our little baby, Cupcake.

I share all kinds of things on this blog – mom stuff, house stuff, & of course desserts. I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest, & Google searching is my spiritual gift. I’m addicted to coffee (but went decaf while I was pregnant) & Gilmore Girls (the original series – NOT the revival!). I hate tomatoes, but I love Jesus.

Our sweet little Cupcake joined us January 2017 ❤
